Biography
Nishadi De Silva joined the EMBL-EBI in September 2016 and is responsible for the microbial data sets in Ensembl Genomes (bacteria, fungi and protists). Prior to joining EMBL-EBI, she worked in the Pathogen Informatics team at the Wellcome Sanger Institute for over seven years, following a postdoctoral research post at the University of Southampton. She has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southampton.
